You need a real break

Camping is work. Rest shouldn't be.

You're stretched thin and craving the woods, but not the gear, the crowds or a five-hour drive. You want somewhere close that actually lets you stop.

The stays

Walls thin enough to feel the forest. Warm enough to stay all winter.

Seven Lantern Cabins and seven Moon Domes, each with its own hot tub, wood stove and a view of the sky from bed. Two nights is the minimum. Three is where the magic starts.

We know what a real break is worth.

We built The Firline for the trip we always wanted for ourselves: completely private, a little bit magical, and finished down to the last detail, so all you have to do is show up.

How it works

Three steps to gone.

  1. 1

    Book direct

Pick your dates and your stay. Two nights minimum, though the forest is best at three or more.

  2. 2

    Get your arrival notes

Texted the morning you arrive, with directions that work even without cell service.

  3. 3

    Arrive and unwind

The stove is laid and the tub is hot. Soak, then fall asleep to rain, snow or stars overhead.

Our promise to you

Glamping, without the fine print.

  • Your own bathroom. Hot water, flushing toilet, real shower.
  • Your own hot tub. Never shared, never scheduled.
  • Room to yourselves. Every stay is spaced for privacy.
  • A real bed, real heat, and a roof that doesn't leak.
  • Someone always reachable, and someone nearby who can fix it.

Come for the weather.

Nov – Apr

Rain on the roof

The Northwest's best soundtrack, heard from a warm bed under a clear roof.

Some winter mornings

Snow on the glass

At 1,240 feet, the forest sometimes wakes up white. Stove's already lit.

Jun – Sep

Dark skies

Far from city glow. On clear summer nights, the Milky Way is right above the hot tub.

Sep – Oct

Elk season

The rut comes right through the meadow. Listen for it at dusk.

Getting out
